We gave you some spring inspiration last week and now we’ve
got even more! To be fair, we’ll be talking about spring a lot in the next few
weeks, so we hope you love it as much as we do. You’d better, at any rate…

First up, when we say ‘spring’, what is the first word that ‘springs’
(sorry) to mind? Flowers, lambs, chocolate? Or perhaps…cleaning? Probably not
that last one, but there’s no getting away from the fact that this is the
traditional season of housework and domestic re-organisation. This sort of thing
might come naturally to you, or if you’re anything myself, you might want to
pretend the whole concept of spring cleaning doesn’t exist at all. If you fall
into the latter camp and reluctantly need a few pointers,
our blog on how to spring clean will be right up your alley.

Spring means Easter, Easter means…no not chocolate. Ok, not
JUST chocolate. It also means holidays. Or in this case, city breaks. Ever been
to Paris in the spring? Well, perhaps 2014 is your year. Or you might want to just
explore a different cultural centre in our fabulously diverse and interesting
country. If this floats your boat, check out
our blog on Easter city breaks and
get booking!

It’s time to don those gardening gloves and get digging, or
planting, or pruning – whatever green-fingered activity takes your fancy. New to
the whole gardening thing? You’re not the only one and it’s harder than it
looks (not to put you off or anything). But you can get some great gardening tips
on where to start with
our guide on how to get into gardening.

We’re not entering the season of the great outdoors and
whether it’s day trips to the country, new sports or just a healthy, outdoorsy
family activity, you’ll be wanting to start planning for those warm weekends
and Easter holidays that are on the horizon. If you’re stuck for money saving ideas,
our blog on outdoor activities for Easter contains some great ideas, including
horse riding, cycling and camping.
And if you’re not in the spring mood after reading that lot,
we don’t know what will do it. Probably reading more spring activity posts next
week!
